Last Thursday, the County Water Authority released a draft Water Purchase Agreement (WPA) for the proposed Carlsbad desalination plant. The public now has 60-days to provide comment on the massive document and two public workshops are being held here in San Diego. Please join us at one of these public workshops.
This will be your chance to learn how the proposed desalination plant will affect rate-payers and the risks the County Water Authority is taking on with this project. You will have a chance to ask questions and show support for Surfrider's concerns about this issue.
