We hope everyone is excited about tomorrow’s SOLD OUT 13th Annual Art Gala! We have just over 24-hours to share more splendid art with you in preparation for the live and silent auctions.

We are thrilled to present 3 “beachradish images” (all limited edition prints) donated by local artist Nicole BoramanandLast Light (Canvas 36×17) is an image of a surfer at Trestles, taken from Amtrak’s Surfliner at sunset. Set (Glass 16×24) and One Watches (Canvas 16×24) were both taken in Ocean Beach.

“Beachradish images” is the creative soul of local San Diegan, Nicole Boramanand. Her signature photographic style creates images that blur the lines between pure artistic rendering and typical photographic documentation. Other than color and contrast adjustments, all of her images are created in-camera without applied layers or textures. Her work is inspired by the notion of perspective – that we all have different ways of interpreting and feeling what is objectively seen – and the coastal environment of San Diego and South Orange County. Nicole lives in Ocean Beach with her husband Jim, who helped found Surfrider Chapters in Connecticut and Minnesota, and their dog, Elvis.
