The heart of our cafe is our coffee. Like roasting, we treat preparing espresso as a culinary art. Our baristas combine their positive energy and espresso training to artfully produce drinks. From espresso extraction to milk texturing, our seasoned baristas create epicurean masterpieces. Of course, exceptional coffee can only be highlighted by fine food. Our pastries are delivered daily from Bread & Cie. Our authentic Italian panini are light and quick, with bold and distinct flavors. Their ingredients are fresh and healthy. The result is supremely delicious and full of flavor, molto gusto.
Our Neapolitan pizza is baked in a custom built wood fired oven by Stefano Ferrara, third-generation owner of the Naples based brick oven maker. The oven is the second one he built state side. Along with the genuine pizza oven we were in Italy for hands on training. Pizza Napoletana is made with a soft dough and cooks in about one minute in a 1000˚F wood burning oven. Because of this, the pies have several distinctive characteristics. The pies are soft and foldable, and can be considered wet by American standards. Blackened char spots on the crust are indictive of pies baked in a traditionaly heated wood fired oven. Neopolitan generally eat their pizza with a knife and fork. Our goal is to make the most authentic Italian food and experience available outside of Italy.
