Opened Summer 2016 on Adams Avenue between North Park and University Heights, Beerfish is a casual seafood and beer concept styled after the seafood shacks of New England. Dingies and colorful buoys line a large patio filled with picnic tables and communal dining, while inside, visitors can enjoy a walk-up counter, bar seating and an oyster station. Classic seafood dishes like clam chowder in a bread bowl, lobster rolls on buttered brioche and beer battered Alaskan cod are readily available, as are freshly shucked and New Orleans-style grilled oysters and crispy oyster sliders. The kitchen is always sending out something new – from Clam Sourdough Toast to the Crab B.L.T. to line-caught Coho salmon on focaccia. Rounding out the experience are thirty craft beers on tap, and each Thursday guests can partake in Beerfish’s Keep the Pint Nights, while Monday through Friday happy hours provide $2 off select beer and wine and $1 oysters.
