Red Card Café
Red Card Café is a family-owned and operated gastropub in San Diego’s Bay Ho neighborhood serving the world’s most popular street foods and contemporary fare inspired by the far reaches of the globe.
Executive Chef Drew Lopez leads the kitchen in dishes ranging from duck poutine and potato pierogi to char siu pork buns and Argentine empanadas – and also offers Saturday and Sunday brunch menus and Monday through Friday happy hour on food and drinks. Making creative use of a former industrial space, Red Card Café is adorned with oversized mirrors and historic, sienna-toned prints of early 20th century European football. Guests can dine on the outdoor patio or sit inside at plush booths, café tables and a concrete bar featuring fourteen craft beers. Through a rustic, sliding barn door visitors can also access the lounge room featuring a communal king’s table and a casual seating area with white sofas and black leather chairs under starburst chandeliers.
