Join Surfrider San Diego and Wildcoast for our Tijuana River Valley Cleanup at Border Field State Park. The Tijuana River Valley is notorious for trash and it needs your help! There will be a volunteer appreciation party following the cleanup with free food, drinks, and beer. Please invite your friends and family!

We will be spending the morning (9am-12pm) of Saturday, October 14th cleaning up Goat Canyon and removing the wealth of litter and debris that’s piled up over the last year.  Help us make our river valley a cleaner, safer and healthier environment for all!

The Tijuana River Valley needs our help! In February of this year, hundreds of millions of gallons of raw sewage were discharged into the Pacific Ocean via the Tijuana River at the United States and Mexico border. Since then, there have been 14 small scale spills of raw sewage from Mexico, but there have been no emergency cleanup efforts despite ill residents and dead wildlife. Help make a difference and attend this cleanup!
