In 1972, California voters approved the California Coastal Act to preserve coastal resources & public access or all.
Our Beach Preservation Committee is dedicated to ensuring these tenets are upheld here in San Diego County.
We now need your help to preserve trail & beach access at our beloved Black’s Beach in La Jolla.
The La Jolla Farms community is taking great measures to discourage public access by covering the majority of curbs along La Jolla Farms Road in red ‘no parking’ paint.
We will be submitting a letter to the La Jolla Traffic & Transportation Board, urging them to improve parking opportunities by removing much of this red paint while also increasing the parking time limit from 2 to 4 hours. These requests are both reasonable & aligned with the basic tenets of the California Coastal Act.
