Kelsey grew up exploring the forests and lakes of Northern California before moving south to the beaches of San Diego for college. She became involved with Surfrider through local beach cleanups, and soon started providing event and fundraising support for the Chapter. She now serves as a representative to the Beach Preservation Committee, supporting the work of coastal defenders who advocate for the protection and preservation of San Diego’s natural coastline. She is passionate about public access and public education, and can be found during the day working at the Museum of Man, an anthropology museum in Balboa Park.
