Scott was born and raised in San Diego where he developed a love for the city’s beaches. As a lifelong surfer, protecting and enjoying the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches is a mission very close to him. After receiving an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Scott joined onto the No Border Sewage committee and was immediately drawn to the mission because he frequents breaks on both sides of the border. In 2017, Scott served led the No Border Sewage committee during the largest sewage spill in Tijuana River Valley history and responded by hiring an environmental lawyer who has filed suit against the federal government. In addition to serving on the Executive Committee, Scott is also a beach cleanup site captain for Ocean Beach.
