Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter Internship Program

The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 250,000 supporters, activists and members worldwide. The San Diego County Chapter formed in 1991 and today is one of the largest and most active chapters in the world.

The San Diego County Chapter is seeking multiple highly motivated individuals for a variety of internship positions. These internship positions vary with work in and out of the office, and schedules include some weekends.  These positions are two and a half to three month contracts, part-time. These are unpaid, flexible positions.

Please note that we can only offer internships to students who will receive academic credit for their efforts, and require paperwork upfront to verify this arrangement.
