Surfrider welcomed Marsi Steirer, Deputy Director of the City of San Diego Public Utilities Department, to talk about the Indirect Potable Reuse (IPR) Demonstration Project. The City is undertaking the pilot project in the hopes of reducing our dependence on imported water and decreasing the treated wastewater that is offloaded in the ocean.
