Join us for the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project restoration event on Saturday, July 14th from 9am-12pm at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center, located at 301 Caspian Way. Volunteers will install native plants to help restore habitat at Southern California’s largest coastal wetland – the Tijuana Estuary.

Following the event, Barefoot Wine invites volunteers that are 21+ to an afterparty at Seacoast Grill, located at 710 Seacoast Drive. The restoration will take place from 9am-12pm and the afterparty will be from 12-2pm.

If you would like to attend please RSVP via http://beachrescue2012sandiego-eorg.eventbrite.com/.

Volunteers must work in long pants and boots or sturdy, closed-toe shoes. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats. The Tijuana Estuary provides work gloves and tools.

All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign for them. Waiver forms are available in advance by request. Volunteers under the age of 16 must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
