Mike Lee of the Union Tribune recently published an article on the erosion issues in Sunset Cliffs National Park, which was named one of the nation's top five "disappearing places".

Julia Chunn-Heer, Campaign Coordinator for the Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter, was quoted in the article saying, “There has been a real lack of urgency to address Sunset Cliff’s pervasive erosion.  Every year there is not an erosion-control system on the ground, we are losing precious coastal resources.”
