Monthly OFR Spotlight: The Evan's Group

It seems like a no brainer that San Diego hotels would work to preserve the local beaches that draw people to them, but unfortunately the waste within hospitality often gets overlooked. The Evan’s Group (think The Bahia, The Catamaran, and The Lodge at Torrey Pines) is a different story, they are showcasing the opportunities for the hospitality industry to be environmentally conscious. In addition to renewing  their hotel restaurants, A.R. Valentien, Oceana, Dockside 1953, and The Grill at Torrey Pines in the OFR program, they also participate in California's Green Lodging Program. Because of their efforts to purchase environmentally friendly products, reduce water usage, and limit waste, all three of their hotels are certified at the highest, Environmentalist level of the Green Lodging Program.
