TAKE ACTION
SUPPORT PLASTIC REDUCTION IN CORONADO
Exciting development! Single-use plastics is on tomorrow evening's Coronado City Council agenda (Tuesday, April 16). Help us take action on this issue.
Coronado is the only coastal city in San Diego County without an ordinance, and the decision made by Councilmembers during this meeting will determine if the City will finally move forward with policies to reduce plastic pollution.
We hope you can join us in Coronado or send an email comment in support. Here’s how you can participate:
Subject: Support for Item #12A, Single-Use Plastics
Comments/Talking Points: (Even a simple statement, such as the example below, will be impactful)
I support directing staff to develop a report on the single-use plastic policies that are in place in Coronado and across the County as soon as possible, and I urge the Council to direct staff to draft a comprehensive single-use plastic reduction ordinance when the report is presented to the Council.
