Dive into a day of action at the 31st Annual Paddle for Clean Water, proudly hosted by the Surfrider Foundation of San Diego County. On Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 8:30 am, join us at the iconic Ocean Beach Pier for an inspiring gathering of surfers, swimmers, and ocean enthusiasts united by a common purpose: to safeguard our ocean's water quality.
Take to the waves with hundreds of fellow advocates as we paddle (or swim!) around the Ocean Beach Pier, symbolizing our commitment to cleaner waters and a healthier ocean.
The "Paddle for Clean Water" is more than an event – it's a call to action, an opportunity to make your voice heard, and a chance to actively contribute to the protection of our oceans. By joining us, you become a part of the Surfrider Foundation's mission to ensure cleaner waters, thriving marine ecosystems, and a brighter future for generations to come.
So mark your calendars for October 1st and stand with us as we create a wave of change that echoes far beyond the shores of Ocean Beach. Let's unite for cleaner water and a healthier ocean – together, we can make a difference.
Join us in an invigorating morning yoga session to harmonize your mind and body in preparation for the day's activities.

All paddle craft are welcome! Join us as we take to the water and swim/paddle around the longest concrete pier in the world (allegedly). Anyone planning to participate in the paddle must register for the event.
