Join us for the 32nd Annual Paddle for Clean Water, hosted by the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 9:00 am at Mission Beach Park (just south of Belmont Park).
Originally launched in the 90s as a protest against sewage pollution, the Paddle for Clean Water has evolved into an annual event that unites surfers, swimmers, and ocean enthusiasts in a massive display of solidarity for protecting our coastline and ocean's water quality.
This year’s event offers San Diegans the chance to come together, build community, and participate in a range of activities, including morning yoga, a coastal ribbon project, a paddle out, a beach cleanup, a celebration of the year’s achievements, and live music.
This year’s t-shirt features a vibrant design inspired by the beauty of our local beaches and the power of our community in action. The shirt is available in a striking canary color, making it a perfect fit for any ocean lover's wardrobe.
By pre-ordering, you’ll not only secure your t-shirt before the event but also support Surfrider’s mission to protect and enjoy our oceans, waves, and beaches. Plus, wearing this shirt is a great way to spread awareness during the event and beyond!
Order Deadline: Sunday, September 8th.
Order Pick-up: Shirts will not be mailed; they must be picked up on the day of the event on Sunday, September 29th. The person picking up the shirt will need to match the name on the ID to the purchaser's name.

Don't miss the chance to participate in our Coastal Ribbon Project! Share your thoughts by responding to the prompt, "In the face of climate change, pollution, inequity, and other challenges, what is your hope for your local coastline?" and read the inspiring answers from others.
Beach cleanups provide a fun and easy way to volunteer and engage with our mission to protect our ocean, waves and beaches, for all people! We'll provide limited supplies. Show up and signup to cleanup during the Paddle event!
