On Saturday, November 11th from 9am-12pm, Surfrider San Diego will have its 15th Annual Hold On To Your Butt Awareness Day at Sunset Cliffs (by Ladera Street)! We're joining forces with San Diego Coastkeeper for a beach and street cleanup!
Meet at the parking lot at the top of Ladera Street. Bags and gloves will be provided, but we always encourage you to bring your own reusables if you have them.
The purpose of this annual event is to educate smokers on responsible ways to dispose of cigarette butts and raise awareness about the negative impacts of cigarette litter on the environment, like how cigarette butts can take up to 25 years to decompose!
