On Saturday, June 20th, beachgoers and surf enthusiasts from around the world will come together to celebrate the Surfrider Foundation’s 11th Annual International Surfing Day. This year we will host a FREE family-friendly event in Ocean Beach (on the grassy area next to Veterans Plaza and the Santa Monica lifeguard station).
From 6-8pm we are teaming up with FM 94/9 to hold a great raffle, games, beverages, popcorn and pizza available. From 8-10pm there will be a free outdoor screening of the classic surf film, 5 Summer Stories. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, towel, or lawn chair and watch the film from the grass.
***GoPro Video Contest!*** All of us at Surfrider and Shore Buddies love the ocean and we know you do too! Create a 15-second video about why you love the ocean for the chance to win a #GoPro!!! A huge thanks to our friends at GoPro for supporting Surfrider's efforts to protect our coastline!

Winners will be announced Saturday, June 20th, 6:00pm at International Surfing Day at Veterans Plaza in Ocean Beach and will be shown on the big screen!
