All Mine! by Roy Kerckhoffs

Roy Kerckhoffs was born in Geleen in the Netherlands and became interested in visual arts at a very early age. He started drawing at age 3 and started photographing at the age of 10 on a point-and-shoot camera gifted to him by his parents. Roy graduated from Maastricht University and Eindhoven University of Technology with a PhD in biomedical engineering, and moved to San Diego shortly after to work at UCSD.

Roy pursued his passion for photography and founded Eyeball Photography in 2008 with his wife. His favorite subjects are industrial objects, ghost towns, and anything with a coastal theme. Its signature style is stark black and white photos with a a hint of color in some works that are handpainted by Roy. His work has been exhibited in several events, galleries, businesses, and restaurants around San Diego, such as ArtWalk on the Bay, the La Jolla Festival of the Arts, and Beverly Hills ArtSHOW.
