Laurie has been painting abstract and non-objective watercolors for over 25 years. She lives in Westbrook, ME and has her own studio at Brydon Farms where she paints daily. Laurie is a Signature Member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, The Northwestern Watercolor Society, The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and The National Association of Painters in Casein and Acrylic. She has been juried into many regional and national shows.
Laurie primarily paints abstract pieces and gets her inspiration from nature and traveling. She prefers painting free flowing colors and designs due to the freedom to interpret the environment in original ways, but she also has created many realistic paintings.
