Applicants must have drive and passion for coastal environmental issues and be excited about the opportunity to help Surfrider Foundation San Diego make an impact. Candidates should have some experience with sales, marketing, and/or event planning. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, in addition to organizational skills. He or she must be hard working, self motivated, and be comfortable working remotely. A small level of physical exertion – loading/unloading supplies, setting up outreach booth events, etc. – is required. Candidates must have, or be in the process of obtaining, a college degree.
Salary, Benefits, & Terms
This is an unpaid internship.
Schedule – 10 hours/week with varying hours. Can be flexible around work and school schedules. Ability to work remotely. Need access to your own computer. The applicant should be able to commit to working for three months. Start and end dates are flexible with school schedules.
