“En El Fondo” translates loosely to “Underneath” in Spanish. This piece reflects the kelp forests and watery values of blues and greens that continually captivate the artist, Angela Van Lier.
Angela, a mixed media artist and art educator, has exhibited in many group shows across the country. Since childhood, she has been fascinated with science, nature, and the human body. Currently, she is inspired by her rediscovery of yoga, meditation and the beauty of the ocean. She lives and works in North County, San Diego.
