Please join us for our first Lawn Patrol of 2013 on Saturday, April 20th from 9-10:30am in Oceanside.
We will start at the Alvarado Street Ocean Friendly Garden that was installed in the winter of 2011 and from there we will take a tour of neighborhood gardens while discussing the Ocean Friendly Gardens principals of C.P.R. (Conservation, Permeability and Retention) and how they are or are not being applied in those gardens. We will also discuss some simple changes homeowners can make in their gardens to make them more ocean friendly.
