We'd like to welcome Galaxy Taco as one of our Ocean Friendly Restaurants! Galaxy Taco understands the impact we have on our oceans and beaches. Because of this, they have taken the steps in the right direction by eliminating Styrofoam and plastic bags for to-go orders. They also have adopted proper recycling practices in their restaurant and only provide plastic utensils upon request in order to protect their backyard beach.

Located in La Jolla Shores, Galaxy Taco offers an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. Along with the friendly service, Galaxy Taco provides a variety of tacos, enchiladas, and drinks for a good time!

Galaxy Taco is a modern Mexican restaurant where the focus is on great ingredients and bold flavors. We grind our own masa daily for our tortillas and tamales from heirloom corn grown in Mexico. Our bar program specializes in smaller producers of tequila and mezcal that produce their products using traditional artisanal methods. All our cocktails are made to order with juices that are squeezed daily.

We want to be a OFR because the owners are OFPeople. We surf, we grew up on the coast and feel its important to take care of our natural resources.
