Holeman Surf Designs are back for more!

The Paddle For Clean Water festival is your chance to demo some of San Diego's finest hand-shaped surfboards shaped by JP Holeman and check out some of the lovely recycled resin jewelry that is created by Andrea Holeman. JP and Andrea are long-time volunteers and Surfrider supporters so we are stoked to welcome them back to the Paddle For Clean Water.

- Board Demo - shaper JP Holeman will be on the beach to match people up with surfboards for them to try out. HSD offers a variety of materials and shapes for their custom hand-shaped surfboards. Don't miss this chance to try out and HSD and talk directly with the shaper.

- Recycled Surf Resin Jewelry and Art by Andrea Holeman - visit Andrea's booth at the festival to see beautiful jewelry creations incorporating recycled surfboard resin, recycled records, and vintage plastics. She will also be showing off her eco-surfboard made from recycled EPS and linseed resin, paintings, and some custom surfboard paint.

HSD is also providing the grand prize of the event raffle in the morning, a custom hand-shaped eco-friendly surfboard!! HSD eco-boards are made with at least 30% post-consumer recycled EPSblanks and FSC certified bamboo stringers, sealed with a non-toxic sealer, and laminated with solar cured linseed resin that is safe for workers and everything can be cleaned up with soap and water. Glassed-on fins are hand-foiled from bamboo scraps from when we make the stringers. The boards are durable and lightweight, the linseed resin is strong and flexible so it resists cracking from pressure dents. Available up to 8'0 (for now).
