Join our Ocean Friendly Gardens committee for their last educational neighborhood walk of 2013 on Saturday, December 14th from 9-11am!
We'll start at the Ocean Friendly Garden on Orchard Ave that was installed in January of this year and from there will take a tour of neighborhood gardens while discussing the Ocean Friendly Garden principals of C.P.R. (Conservation, Permeability, and Retention) and how they are being, or can be, applied in the neighborhood.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Ocean Friendly Gardens program and what simple changes homeowners can make in their gardens to make them more "Ocean Friendly".
We will meet at 9am on the corner of Orchard Ave and Cable St in Ocean Beach and from there will tour several blocks before returning to the starting location to wrap up.
