SDSU Students Raise Awareness about Water Quality with Input from the Blue Water Task Force
Last semester, a group of SDSU students from the Compact Scholars Program collaborated with Surfrider Foundation San Diego to explore local water quality as part of their civic engagement class. As a framework, these students learned about the Blue Water Task Force and its efforts to monitor and communicate local water quality results in San Diego County. Additionally, the students also explored San Diego Coastkeeper and other local agencies' resources and completed research specific to the Mission Bay area.
After months of collaboration, in-depth interviews, and analysis, the students created a video highlighting their findings and perspective on the status of local water quality in San Diego. Check out the video below!
