Grant Pecoff is a native San Diegan and received formal training at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He got his inspiration from his father's stories of traveling around the world in search of rare plants. These stories encouraged the development of his imagination and his appreciation for the world around him, and Grant has dedicated himself to traveling all over the globe to seek out more inspiration.
Grant uses his signature bright, bold colors and vibrant light to convey the essence of a culture and also to feel a universal commonality that all people share. He enjoys painting cityscapes, coastal views, cafes, people interacting, and always maintains a strong focus on the light.
