No Border Sewage Cleanup In Tijuana River Estuary

Join our No Border Sewage Program for a cleanup in the Tijuana River Valley on Saturday, March 7th, from 8am-12pm. We will meet at the entrance of Border Field State Park (1500 Monument Rd, San Diego 92154). Please wear comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Also, don't forget your reusable cup or bottle. Water will be provided, but cups are limited.

There will be a get-together for lunch afterwards at the Outlets at the Border in the Connect Lounge. Panda Express is graciously hosting and feeding us lunch to celebrate our success! Please remember to bring reusable bowls and silverware for lunch.

Directions to the Connect Lounge from Borderfield State Park for the post-cleanup lunch: Travel east to Dairy Mart Road; Turn right on Camino de la Plaza and follow the road past Nike; Turn right on Virginia at the large digital sign.  Park on the right; Enter near Panda Express and Coffee Bean. Pass Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and the Connect Lounge/Guest Services will be on the right.

We give special thanks to Purakai for sponsoring this event and supporting our mission to cleanup our oceans and beaches. Be sure to check out Purakai’s amazing eco-friendly clothing line at www.purakai.com.

A thank you to our partners; CA State Parks, WILDCOAST, Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, 91X FM Radio, Outlets at the Border, Panda Express, Cliff Bar and KIND Bar.

Register here for the cleanup and contact nobs@surfridersd.org for more information. If you are a minor, please contact us prior to the cleanup to have a liability waiver form filled out by your guardian if they won't be present at the cleanup.
