Note: Our agenda items will now be heard at the November Coastal Commission Meetings so we are no longer asking volunteers to attend this month's meeting.
Join us for a potentially precedent setting Coastal Commission meeting on October 10th to stand up for our oceans, waves and beaches as well as the Coastal Act! Your presence is key in protecting the accomplishments we have attained so far in relation to beach access and coastal preservation. The meeting will be held at the Crowne Plaza, located at 2270 Hotel Circle and runs all day. We're asking volunteers to attend in the morning from 9am-12pm and to stay through the afternoon if you can. T-shirts will be provided and talking points will be available upon request.
Since our victory in March of 2012, bluff top homeowners have filed lawsuits against the Coastal Commission and the City of Solana Beach. Help us show the Coastal Commission that the beach belongs to all of us, not just the first row of bluff top homeowners.
