Wednesday evening the Solana Beach City Council decided to continue working with Coastal Commission staff to resolve a few differences without changing the intent of their Local Coastal Plan (LCP) currently approved by the Coastal Commission in an effort to keep the LCP moving forward and to avoid having to start over. The Council is expected to release a new slightly modified version of the LCP very soon for public comment; this issue could be before the City Council as early as Nov 28th.
