The 2014 Surf for the Sea Contest is taking place September 3rd-7th at the North Harbor Jetty in Oceanside.
This contest is a benefit for the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter in memory of local surfers who have passed away.

Note: The Surf for the Sea Contest has been postponed! Due to an increasing very large swell that is already presenting dangerous conditions, the 18th annual Surf for the Sea has been postponed for this weekend. Unfortunately there is already too much swell to have safe conditions for the competitors and kids who normally attend this great event. We are presently looking for an alternate date to hold the event as soon as possible and will have more details soon. Thanks for your understanding.
