Join us on Wednesday, February 19th from 6:30-8pm for our first Advocacy 101 training of the year at 9883 Pacific Heights Blvd, Suite D San Diego, CA 92121.
This training will equip you the context, tools, and resources you need to take your activism to the next level. We will go over the primary agencies Surfider works with and teach you how to engage those agencies, provide an overview of the laws and regulations used to protect our oceans, waves and beaches, and complete an exercise to make everyone more comfortable with giving public comment. This workshop will be a great place to learn, so please join us and ask questions!
Attending one of our Core Volunteer Orientations is a prerequisite to this course. If you have not been through the Core Volunteer Orientation yet, don’t fret because Advocacy 101 will be offered again this year.
