We are proud to announce that Surfrider Foundation San Diego has been chosen by
Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation to be one of their charitable beneficiaries!
For the third year in a row,
Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation has partnered with Entercom radio station (including Seattle’s 99.9 KISW and 107.7 The End, Portland’s 94/7 FM, and
San Diego’s FM 949) to raise money for a handful of the band’s spotlight non-profit organizations. Surfrider Foundation will receive $2 from each ticket sold to FM949’s marque concert events: SPF 949 on
June 11 and Independence Jam on
September 9.
“We’re so happy to have found partners who can help increase our support of local charities simply by directing a portion of proceeds from their live concert events to our Foundation,” said Stone Gossard, Pearl Jam guitarist and Vitalogy Foundation board member.
