Surfrider Development Internship Open!

Do you have an interest in working in nonprofits?  Have a knack for fundraising or just want to learn the ropes of nonprofit development?

The Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter has an opening for a Development Internship this summer!  This internship position varies with work in and out of the office, and schedules include some weekends.  The position is a two and a half to three month contract, part-time. This is an unpaid, flexible position.

The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 250,000 supporters, activists and members worldwide. The San Diego County Chapter formed in 1991 and today is one of the largest and most active chapters in the world.
