This month Surfrider San Diego will launch a brand new scientific SURF MONITORING PROGRAM to establish baseline data about our local surfing resources and track their response to the influx of sand from the Regional Beach Sand Project II (RBSP II) scheduled for early this summer. With a network of six cameras throughout the County, this monitoring program will create a video archive of our coastal resources and how they change over time, track changes in surf quality and "surfability", as well as provide extremely important information as it pertains to a number of other projects.
