The Prado

We’d like to introduce The Prado as one of our Ocean Friendly Restaurants! The Prado has taken the next step in becoming environmentally conscious by eliminating expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam as well as plastic bags for to-go orders. The Prado has also made the switch to reusable tableware during onsite dining and has adopted proper recycling practices. Takeaway utensils and straws are only handed out upon request! We thank The Prado for being ocean friendly!

The Prado, located at Balboa Park is an award-winning, full-service restaurant located in the House of Hospitality, offering indoor and outdoor seating. There is an wide variety of food to choose from including gluten free and vegetarian options. Drinks can be enjoyed at the Cocktail & Tapas Lounge. Weddings and events can be held at this beautiful venue as well, just be sure to make reservations.

The unique décor blends the historical aspects of the House of Hospitality and whimsical accessories inspired by the Park museum collections. The diverse cuisine includes an array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and imaginative entrées. The lounge combines a lighter menu with a wide variety of margaritas, sangria, beer, wine and other beverages.

The Prado's Centennial Theatre Menu

Prado gets you to the show on time!  Join us at The Prado on Sundays and Wednesdays for our 2-course Centennial Theatre Menu priced at $29.95 per person featuring Prado favorites such as Pan Roasted Sea Bass and Mustard Crusted Pork Prime Rib.  We’ll get you to the Old Globe by showtime and even give you a to-go coffee to enjoy on your walk to the theatre.  To make a reservation, please call 619-557-9441.
