Join us for our first Lawn Patrol of the year on Sunday, April 15th from 9-11am. This Lawn Patrol will be held in Sunset Cliffs where runoff from adjacent areas has caused erosion to accelerate and in threatening the natural park. Reducing runoff from our properties is one way that we can help to reduce erosion problems. We will address this as well as other issues affecting our coastal and marine ecosystems during the Lawn Patrol.
We will meet on the corner of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Hill Street. As a group, we will walk the block between Hill and Monaco streets and address how homes can implement the Ocean Friendly Gardens principals of Conservation, Permeability and Retention (CPR) to their properties and help reduce runoff pollution and erosion.
Remember to bring a reusable water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
