On the evening of Thursday, Feb 13, over 100 people tuned into our Living Shorelines Webinar focusing on coastal dune restoration in San Diego County. In case you missed it and would like to check out the recording, it's available below and on our Youtube page. The full recording is just over an hour.
Check it out!
Surfrider would like to thank everyone who tuned in and asked thoughtful questions to our panelists. We'd also like to give a special thanks to our panelists for their excellent presentations - Alex Ferron with Surfrider Foundation, Jenna Wisniewski with CA Sea Grant, Carrie Benner with CA State Parks, and Jayme Timberlake with the City of Oceanside.
As the year goes on, we hope to provide additional opportunities for local ocean & beach lovers to learn more about the larger coastal environment, including beach processes and coastal management. Here at Surfrider, we know firsthand that an informed beachgoing public is a cornerstone of ensuring our beaches and coast are properly managed and protected for all people!
