Congratulations to La Jolla resident Steven Roeder who recently won first place in the national Greenscape Challenge. This challenge was organized by San Diego-based Cali Bamboo and the Surfrider Foundation in an effort to promote more "ocean-friendly" landscapes. This contest was inspired by the Surfrider Foundation's Ocean Friendly Garden Program.
